What could be better in the summer than sitting outside relaxing on the balcony, patio or in the garden sipping a nice cocktail? From Sex on the Beach, to Pina Colada, to Mojito:

  • 2 cl Myers's Rum
  • 2 cl white rum
  • 2 cl brown rum (high proof)
  • 2 cl Apricot Brandy
  • 2 cl Rose's Lime Juice
  • 2 cl lemon juice
  • 3 cl orange juice
  • 3 cl pineapple juice

For the Zombie, add a handful of ice cubes to a shaker and then add the other ingredients. Shake everything vigorously – but be careful when opening: it foams a lot.

Pour 0,3l in a glass and put a drinking straw in it. Use pineapple quarters for decoration.

The cocktail tips to follow

Gin beer

For the gin beer, put a handful of ice cubes in a shaker and add gin, lemon juice and elderberry syrup. Shake everything vigorously.

Pour everything into a glass and fill it up with half a 0.33l Pilsner beer. Add a slice of lemon and let it taste! The other half of the pilsner is then for the second "cocktail".

The Gimlet

The Gimlet is perfect for the sunset in the garden or on the terrace. For the cocktail, fill a shaker halfway with ice cubes. Add the gin, the lime juice and the lemon juice and shake everything vigorously. Put 3-4 fresh ice cubes in a whiskey tumbler and pour the cocktail on it.

Tip from the pro: if you don't like gin, just replace it with vodka – tastes great too!

The Touch Down

  • 4 cl vodka
  • 2 cl Apricot Brandy
  • 2 cl Lime Juice
  • 2 cl lemon juice
  • 1 cl grenadine

The Touch Down is a fruity cocktail that leaves you wanting more. For the cocktail put all ingredients in a shaker with ice and shake everything together vigorously. Then the Touch Down comes with the ice cubes in a glass about 0.3l in size. The tip from the professional: you can also fill the glass with crushed ice beforehand and pour the cocktail without the ice cubes on the crushed ice. And now it is: Sunglasses on and enjoy!

The Spring Fever

  • Crushed ice
  • 2cl mango syrup
  • 2cl lemon juice
  • Passion fruit juice
  • Pineapple juice
  • Currant juice
  • Orange juice

The Spring Fever is a non-alcoholic cocktail that even the kids will enjoy. First, provide a large glass (0.4 or 0.5l) and fill it halfway with crushed ice. On top add the mango syrup and lemon juice. Now layer! Pour equal parts of passion fruit juice and pineapple juice into the lower 2/3 of the glass. Then in the last third of the glass again layer equal parts currant juice and orange juice. Ready!

The Flying Kangaroo

  • 3 cl vodka
  • 2 cl white rum
  • 1 cl Galiano – this is an Italian vanilla liqueur
  • 2 cl cream
  • 2cl coconut syrup
  • 3 cl orange juice
  • 3 cl pineapple juice

The Flying Kangaroo is similar in creaminess to the Pina Colada. To do this, simply add all ingredients to a shaker filled with ice cubes. Then shake vigorously, the cocktail should be nice and creamy. Fill the Flying Kangaroo with ice cubes into a cocktail glass.
From a slice of pineapple and orange conjure up a beautiful decoration on the glass and off in the deck chair and enjoy the summer cocktail!

The Aperol Sour

Everybody knows the Aperol Spritz – but the bittersweet Aperol Sour? This one is actually very refreshing and sour is fun as we all know!
Fill a shaker with ice, the Aperol, lemon juice and orange juice. As a tip: add a little powdered sugar on top! Then shake everything vigorously! Fill a whiskey tumbler with three fresh ice cubes and pour the drink without the ice cubes. Garnish the Aperol Sour with another slice of orange and enjoy without a straw.

Mai Tai

  • 3cl white rum
  • 3 cl dark Jamaican rum
  • 2 cl Triple Sec (orange liqueur)
  • 1 cl almond syrup
  • 4 cl fresh lime juice
  • 6 cl pineapple juice

The Mai Tai sounds suspiciously like the South Seas, but was first mixed in San Francisco.

For the cocktail fill the shaker with ice cubes. Then add the white rum, the dark Jamaican rum, the Triple Sec, almond syrup, lime juice and also the pineapple juice and shake everything vigorously. Pour the Mai Tai into a glass with ice cubes and decorate with a pineapple chunk. A tip from the pro: you can also substitute half of the pineapple juice with passion fruit juice sometimes. Tastes also wonderfully tropical. In any case: Cheers!

Kick it

  • 2cl mango syrup
  • 2cl lemon juice
  • 2cl Lime Juice
  • 4cl orange juice
  • Fill up with ginger ale
  • Decoration: Orange slice or 3-4 leaves of fresh mint

The Kick It is a non-alcoholic cocktail that will get you in the summer mood and is also good for the kids. First fill a shaker with ice cubes and then add mango syrup, lemon juice, lime juice and orange juice. Now shake the whole thing properly and pour into a glass. Now fill up to the brim with ginger ale. Important: Always add all carbonated ingredients after shaking, otherwise the cocktail will fly around your ears and stick to the wallpaper. Add an orange slice or mint as decoration and cheers!

The Daiquiri

  • 6cl slightly matured Cuban rum
  • 2cl lime juice
  • 1cl sugar syrup
  • Tip: if you want it really fat, sweet and creamy, add 2 cl Cream of Coconut, but you don't have to

And so it goes:

The Daiquiri is an absolute classic from the bar menu. Said to have been first mixed by an employee of an American mining company in a settlement called Daiquiri. Pre-chill the drinking glass (preferably a cocktail bowl) for the cocktail. The best way to do this is to put the glass in the freezer for 15 minutes. Now fill the shaker with rum, lime juice and sugar syrup and shake everything vigorously for at least 15 seconds! Then pour the whole thing without ice cubes through a bar strainer into the chilled drinking glass. As a decoration, add a slice of lime to the glass and then it's just a matter of sitting back and enjoying it!

Pina Colada

  • 2 cl white rum
  • 2 cl brown rum
  • 2 cl cream
  • 8 cl pineapple juice
  • Tip: if you want it really fat, sweet and creamy, add 2 cl Cream of Coconut, but it doesn't have to be

The Pina Colada is one of the most famous cocktails in the world and is probably on every cocktail menu. It was created in the 1950s in a hotel complex in Puerto Rico.

For the Pina Colada, first fill the shaker halfway with ice cubes. Then pour the rum, the cream and the pineapple juice over it. If you like it especially creamy, add 2cl Cream of Coconut. Then shake everything vigorously in front of the body for 15-20 seconds. The cream must be mixed well! Now pour the cocktail into a glass, insert a drinking straw and decorate with a slice of pineapple. Now only one thing remains: feet up and cheers!

The Safe Driver

  • 4 cl orange juice
  • 4 cl pineapple juice
  • 2cl Rose's Lime Juice
  • 2cl lemon juice
  • 1 cl grenadine

Put ice cubes with orange juice, pineapple juice, lime juice and lemon juice in a shaker and shake everything properly. If you don't have a shaker, pour everything into a glass and stir with a spoon. At the end pour grenadine over it. Decorate the cocktail with organgen slices or pineapple slices. Cheers!

Alabama Slammer

  • 2 cl Southern Comfort
  • 2 cl Gin
  • 2cl Amaretto
  • 4 cl orange juice

First fill the glass with 4-6 ice cubes. Then add 2cl each of Gin, Amaretto and Southern Comfort as well as 4cl orange juice on top. That was actually already! Stir the whole thing, put half an orange slice in the glass as a decoration and enjoy. You can use a drinking straw, but you don't have to. Even the pros argue about the best way to transport the flavors of the drink.

Bahama Mama

  • 2cl coconut flavored rum
  • 2cl white rum
  • 2cl brown rum
  • 4cl orange juice
  • 4cl pineapple juice
  • Lemon juice
  • Grenadine syrup
  • Fruit for decoration

For the Bahama Mama, fill a shaker halfway with ice cubes. Then add 2cl of each of the three rums on top of it. The tip from the pro: do not use more than 2cl per type of rum, otherwise the cocktail will not taste as perfect as it should in the end. Then add a splash of lemon juice and 4cl each of pineapple and orange juice. Shake the whole thing 8-12 times really hard. Finally, pour everything into a glass, add 1cl grenadine in the middle and decorate with straw and fruit! Now just put on sunglasses and enjoy the summer. Cheers!

Note: if you don't have a shaker at home, you can pour everything into a larger glass and mix the ingredients with the ice cubes.

The Mojito

For the mojito first cut the lime into eighths. Put 4-6 eighths in a glass and sprinkle a tablespoon of cane sugar over it.
With a pestle (tip from the pro: in a pinch, the handle of a screwdriver also works) press 4-5 times.
Now put 6-8 leaves of fresh mint in your hand and clap it with the other hand, because only in this way the mint unfolds its aroma.
Now fill the glass with crushed ice, add 4 cl of white rum. Stir the whole thing with a spoon 3-4 times from bottom to top. If you like, you can add a shot of mineral water to the cocktail.
